MOCK INTERVIEW WEEK is coming up in January. The event is open to all students, freshman through graduate. The information about the event and the sign up procedure for the students is described below and is also attached. I have also attached a flyer that I would like for you to display in your schools. We have over 60 companies signed up so far, that will accommodate 736 students to interview at this point. I am still scheduling additional employers as well.
The student sign-up for the Mock Interviews is done on-line through CareerBuzz and it starts December 18th, 2008 through January 13, 2009. Students can sign up during the winter break, as well. Please send out the information as soon as possible, so students will receive it before they depart.

EVENT: 2009 MOCK INTERVIEW WEEK
Mock Interviews are held by employers from various companies at Career Services in the Bill Moore Student Success Center, Basement level. These employers are here to help you practice your interviewing skills. Do not miss the opportunity to get honest, positive feedback from employers, and also be able to ask questions of employers you have always been afraid to ask before.
WHEN: January 20 – January 23, 2009
SIGN-UP TIME FRAME: You can sign-up on-line in between December 18, 2008 – January 13, 2009.
SIGN – UP:
- Log in to your CAREERBUZZ account at www.career.gatech.edu
- Click on the JOBS tab on your homepage
- Under SHOW ME select ALL JOBS & INTERVIEWS
- In the KEYWORD search box type in Mock Interviews
- Select a company to sign up for an interview time slot
You will be able to see all the companies that will be holding Mock Interviews on campus. Mock Interview sign-ups are first come, first-served basis.
Please note that the mock interviews held on Friday, January the 23rd are CASE INTERVIEWS. Only sign-up for Friday, January 23rd, if you are interested in practicing CASE INTERVIEWS.
Please only sign up for ONE interview time slot for the Mock Interview Week!
INTERVIEW LENGTH: All interviews will be 45 minutes with 30 minute practice and 15 minutes for feedback.
